Nicole J. Adelman is a recent transplant to Prague and is honored to have made her Blood, Love & Rhetoric stage debut in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Having spent the previous eight years in Los Angeles, she proudly worked on the show Mad Men, and enjoyed being in commercials, doing extensive voiceover and radio work, and playing on some of L.A.’s best storefront stages.
Originally from Chicago, she earned high praise from the Chicago SunTimes for her roles as Celia in Michael V. Gazzo’s A Hatful Of Rain at Raven Theatre, as well as for the role of Cat in the Chicago premiere of Sean Graney’s adaptation of Jose Rivera’s References To Salvador Dali Make Me Hot at the Bailiwick Repertory Theater. Most recently, at the 2015 Prague Fringe, she played the role of Jayne in Peppur Chambers’ Dick & Jayne Get A Life, which had had an extremely successful extended run at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and the year prior she was the Creator, Director and Producer of the one-woman show of the Chambers book Harlem’s Awakening, which was nominated for Best in Performance at the 2014 Prague Fringe and shall have a remount in Prague again soon.
Next up, she’ll be playing Lady Capulet, Tybalt and Paris in Prague Shakespeare Company’s 2015-2016 touring and season production of Romeo & Juliet. She is very excited to be playing for you and on these Prague stages, and is grateful you’re here. Thank you to all.
