Vanessa Gendron

 

Vanessa completed her theatrical training at the Theatre Department and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education at the University of Ottawa, where she worked on a multitude of projects as an actress with Theatre 100, La Comedie des deux Rives, and Vox Theatre.

 

Since 1999, Vanessa has been based in Prague, where she continues to work with international theatres and film productions. Founder of Azyzah Theatre, she brings the wonders of theatre through workshops, educational theatre and clowning for kids of all ages.

 

Vanessa also is an artistic director and creator at LAVU CIE; artistic director at Chance 4 Children, where she trains clowns and performs; and an associate artist with Prague Shakespeare Company, where she is an actress in repertoire. She made her debut with Blood, Love & Rhetoric in October 2015 as the acting coach in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.
