Jim High

 

Jim is a co-founder of Blood, Love & Rhetoric Theatre and Improv Comedy group.. As well as theatre, comedy, stand-up, voice and commercial work (with versatility to play both the 'before' and 'after' guy), he's also appeared in film and television. You can see Jim High's showreel here and his IMDB page and Spotlight pages there.

 

He's played in a range of comic and tragic roles with Blood, Love & Rhetoric in pieces by Pinter and Tom Stoppard, as Mephistopheles in Dr Faustus and most recently as Torvald in A Doll's House . He's also appeared in several original plays brought to stage by Blood, Love & Rhetoric such as Agent Jablonski in the comedy-horror-mystery that is Lovecraft: Devil's Reef. He's also directed Chekhov, Woyzeck, The Birthday Party, Zurich Plays and wrote and directed The Enemies based on the works of Jorge Luis Borges, an author he is somewhat obsessed by.

He grew up on the Isle of Wight but wasn't born there, is a Gemini but doesn't believe in that kind of thing and is a big fan of pretty much every creature that creepth upon this Earth.
