Kiro Nushev

Kiro describes himself as a proper comedy nerd who is “obsessed” with improv, “intoxicated” by stand-up and “smitten” with sketch comedy. Having grown up in the Macedonian capital of Skopje, Kiro was surrounded by fellow countrymen who communicated through one-upsmanship and “hacky” jokes and therefore considers comedy as a “value” in his life. Kiro earned a degree in journalism and Masters in communication, “effectively advancing my education from useless to pointless,” so he worked as a graphic designer and helped to create theatre and movie sets while occasionally performing.

Upon moving to Prague in 2008 he has performed stand-up comedy in venues throughout the city. He completed Blood, Love & Rhetoric's improv comedy courses and debuted with the troupe in their Sunday experimental show in the spring of 2015. He is adept at playing the guitar and bass, is a great cook with his own set of chef knives and continues to work toward his dream of performing in a musical or MCing a cabaret show.
