John was on board for Blood, Love & Rhetoric's inaugural 2009-2010 season with parts in Rozencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Hamlet), Chekhov! From Russia with Blood, Love & Rhetoric (Chubukov) and The Birthday Party (Goldberg). John's other company credits include Lovecraft (Reginald), Men of Wives (Richard), The Caretaker (Aston), The Memorandum (Mr. Gross) and Elixir (Emperor Rudolf II).
John is also an Associate Artist at the Prague Shakespeare Company, where he has appeared in Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cymbeline, Twelfth Night, The Duchess of Malfi, and William Shakespeare's Complete Works (Abridged). Most recently he adapted Karel Čapek's Pocket Tales into the murder mystery The Order of the Blue Chrysanthemum, which he also directed and starred in.
John appears in the feature films Wanted and Schwere Jungs (Germany) and can be seen on television in the series Borgia (Canal Plus), Crossing Lines (Netflix), and The Musketeers (BBC). He is the only member of Blood, Love & Rhetoric Improv Comedy who can bench press his own weight, and he's got your mother's maiden name tattooed on his arm.
